AFM Investment Partners has signed a partnership deal with Indonesia’s national investment manager Mandiri Investasi, Financial Standard reports. The Melbourne-based funds management firm will offer regulatory and compliance structure, along with other front office support. The move will help Mandiri expand its presence in the Australian institutional market. The firm aims to have 20% of its assets under management originating from outside of Indonesia in the next five years. The partnership will focus on Australian institutional investors interested in exposure to Indonesia’s stock market and money market.
