Agrifirma is seeking to form a new joint venture (JV) with one of the Brazilian private equity investors, Financial Times reports. The newly formed fund Agrifirma Brasil Agropecuaria will get an $82 million investment from Fundo Brasil Agonegocio (FBA). The money will be used to accelerate development of the existing projects of the Brazilian farmland investment company. In the venture, Agrifirma will hold a minority stake. It will be majority owned by FBA.
