Alpen Investment Management has shut down the Euro shareclass of one of its fund of hedge funds, HFMWeek reports. The Alpen Fund Class E Euro began liquidating at the end of last year. The fund mainly allocated to funds with a European focus. The vehicle was designed to invest across a variety of strategies including long/short equity, convertible arbitrage, merger arbitrage, fixed-income arbitrage among others.
