MF Global has appointed Christopher Moore as general legal counsel for the Asia-Pacific region, Asian Investor reports. He will be responsible for looking after all legal aspects of the derivatives broker dealer’s business in the region.

In the newly created role, Moore will be reporting to general counsel Laurie Ferber and managing director of Asia-Pacific Mike Blomfield. Prior to MF Global, Moore was serving at Nomura as managing director and special adviser to its Asia CEO.
